• Ensure that MCR enable TV to launch new channels according to milestones and timeframes
• Responsible of making automated/intelligent backup systems that ensures transmission and broadcasting continuity in case of any failure that encounters the broadcasting chain.
• Ensure that MCR procedures are satisfying ITIL International Certification requirements and that all activities within department are in accordance with Group Policies
• Helps the senior MCR engineer in monitor the incoming and outgoing contributions to MBC TV channels & Radio and Provide outbound transmission services (in coordination with Nilesat) and inbound transmission services (from and to studios via fiber or any other technology)
• Responsible for receiving and recording live feeds of programs, interviews, tapes and assist in perform antenna schedule maintenance every month & TV ring check
• Closely monitor all on air channels for infections, problems & troubleshoot problems and inform the Senior MCR engineer/MCR&DVB supervisor in Dubai role about the resolution
• Effectively receive and record live interviews & programs by tuning antenna & receiver in coordination with transmission
• Tightly control the quality of content & recording of recorded feed tapes
• Ensure content & files for internet feeds & ingesting files into MCR system (Media Browse Server)"
• Regularly schedule & conduct tapes dubbing in coordination with MCR Operators using dubbing facilities in the absence of the MCR operator running the dubbing room
• Participate in the design and installation of the MCR expansion

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 4 years of experience in media / TV field
Experience in Networks modelling
Experience in Technology troubleshooting
MCR & Satellite technologies, tools & systems (TCR, encoders, Multiplexer O/P, DVB)
Broadcasting systems (Magic System)
Media technologies (Avid, Media Browse)
